    I thought this was settled with the railroad cases. States cannot interfere with interstate commerce, international commerce is governed by treaty. If CA thinks it can impose sovereign obligations on information in the stream of commerce , it really should secede - give up the protections of Federalism and start a global revolution/disaster. Corporations have some obligation to perceive and plan for their own future. Sounds like that didn‘t work - so dump it on a government(s) that is even more inept.
